NourishNC update
Posted byOur first trip to @nourish_nc was a success, we’re happy to announce 140 lbs of food and two private donations were dropped off yesterday! If you want to help and you can, the following items are needed; can goods, paper products and or cereal can be dropped @landfallrealty M-F and we will deliver to @nourish_nc on Monday mornings. Message me if you have any questions and THANK YOU to all those who were have already donated!

If you are able to drop off donations @landfallrealty we will make sure these items put a smile on a child’s face but most importantly…fill their tummy! Items needed are: •jelly (critical) •mac&cheese (critical) •cereal, •soups and •Lysol

Earth Day 50th anniversary
Posted byOn an August day in 1969, Sen. Gaylord Nelson, from Wisconsin, was in Santa Barbara inspecting what he later described as “that awful oil spill” and “puzzling about what could be done to bring public opinion to bear on the lethargic political community.” Over the next month he hatched a plan. Sit-ins that offered lessons about specific topics — were the rage in the activist 1960s, and Nelson wondered what might happen if the whole country engaged in a teach-in on how human activity imperiled the natural world. Thus Earth Day was born, and 50 years ago today!
