About Alison Bernhart
After moving to Wilmington in 1990 from Alexandria, Virginia, I was excited to begin working at Landfall and continuing my real estate career. With my love of southern classic homes and history, Landfall provided the perfect venue for helping friends and clients from all over the United States create their dream home in Coastal North Carolina. My husband, Frank, and I always knew that we would end up in Wrightsville Beach, my family’s vacation spot beginning in the early 1950’s.
After looking at Landfall, we realized that Landfall offered the best of all worlds: close to the beach, but in a more permanent home community and a wonderful place to raise our daughter. Katie is now married and has children of her own who come frequently and enjoy the beach, Surf Camp and local breweries. After 35 years in the neighborhood, the beautiful and unique architectural styles found in Landfall have expanded our community’s identity far beyond our imagination.
My spare time is spent entertaining, decorating, and shopping for antiques and treasures. My community endeavors have included teaching real estate at UNCW’s Cameron School of Business, participating in the Women’s Impact Network, and serving on the Landfall Architectural Review Board, Wilmington Board of Realtors, and the Landfall Foundation board. I am also one of the proud owners of Landfall Realty, the only on-site real estate firm in Landfall and something I truly believe in.
