About Alison Bernhart

After moving to Wilmington in 1990 from Alexandria, Virginia, I was excited to begin working at Landfall. With my love of southern classic homes, Landfall provided the perfect venue for helping friends and clients from all over the United States create their dream home here in Coastal North Carolina. My husband, Frank, and I always knew that we would end up at Wrightsville Beach, a childhood vacation spot for my family beginning in the early 1950’s.

After looking at Landfall, we realized that Landfall offered the best of all worlds, close to the beach, but in a more permanent home community and a wonderful place to raise our daughter now married with children of her own. We are so lucky to be here in Wilmington where the kids all want to visit, go to Surf Camp, and enjoy the beach. The beautiful and unique architectural styles found in Landfall have expanded our community far beyond our imagination.

My spare time is spent entertaining, decorating, shopping for treasures, and enjoying our New York City grandchildren, Chase and Molly. My community endeavors have included the Landfall Architectural Review Board, teaching a real estate class at UNCW’s Cameron School of business, a term on the Wilmington Board of Realtors, membership in the Women’s Impact Network organization, and now as a board member of the Landfall Foundation.
