This weekend at Wrightsville Beach it’s the Wahine Classic, an all female surf competition. The contest includes amateurs and professionals competing in surfing events and a Stand Up Paddleboard division. With 100 competitors from ages 5 to 65, this is sure to be an exciting event. The contest starts Saturday at 8:00am and lasts until 4:00pm and on Sunday from 8:00am until 3:00pm. The surfing will take place at public beach accesses 37 and 38. Come enjoy a gorgeous August weekend and watch as these talented women amaze you with their skill on the waves!
