Tomorrow is the day of the big game! UNCW plays Duke in the first round of the NCAA March Madness College Basketball Tournament. The game, which is played in Providence, Rhode Island, will be aired on CBS at 12:15pm. Duke University is the number 4 seed in the West Division and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington is the 13th. Duke has been to the NCAA tournament 21 years in a row, which is the second-longest streak in tournament history, only behind Kansas. Duke and UNCW have only played once before in 1982 when Duke won 67-57. The winner of this game will take on the winner of the Yale/Baylor game and will play on Saturday. The Seahawks’ record in the March Madness tournament is 1-4, but after a 6-year hiatus from the NCAA tournament they hope to improve that record.
