Robert Burns Supper

This Saturday it’s the Annual Robert Burns Supper at the Country Club of Landfall. The event is held in honor of Robert Burns, a renowned Scottish bard, famous for his songs and poems, including “Auld Lang Syne”.

Guests are sure to have a great time at this exciting and unique party sponsored by the Scottish Society of Wilmington. There will be Scottish-inspired and Gaelic music, dancing, door prizes, toasts, bagpipes, a silent auction, and plenty of drinks. The dinner menu also incorporates the Scottish theme with a choice of roast land, seared salmon, or beef sirloin, which are served with Scotch broth soup and warm apple bread pudding.

The birthday celebration for Robert Burns begins at 6:00pm. The dress code for the event is Scottish attire, black tie, or business suit. This event, the largest fundraiser of the year for the Scottish Society of Wilmington, is sure to be a fun night!
