The North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher is a short ride from Landfall NC and its real estate owners and visitors alike have the somewhat unique pleasure of being neighbors with a rare albino alligator! Dialogue with a Diver during which divers in the tank will answer questions while they work, Creature Feature lets you get up close and personal with a variety of live animals, Animal Feeding Time allows you to ask questions about habitat and feeding needs, and Touch Tank Talk where you can learn more about creatures living in the rocky coquina outcrop (do we even know what that is?) are just some of the daily programs. It’ll take you about two hours to tour the Fort Fisher Aquarium, unless your enthusiasm plunges you into some of the programs.
