Wilmington has been experiencing gorgeous, warm weather since the start of 2017. January and February have been exceptionally warm, with Spring-like temperatures of
highs in the 60’s and 70’s. On January 17th, the temperature reached a pleasant 77 degrees, one of the ten days temperatures were above 70 degrees that month! This month Wilmington residents have already enjoyed five days above 70. This year so far there has only been one day when the temperature did not rise above the freezing mark.
This weather has been perfect for outdoor activities; luckily, Wilmington has so many to offer. There are numerous parks, many restaurants that offer outdoor seating, outdoor beer gardens, the beach, outdoor events that are always taking place, open air shopping malls, and there is always plenty to do when walking around Historic Downtown Wilmington. This warm weather has been a wonderful start to 2017!
