GOLF
Championship courses designed by Jack Nicklaus (27 holes) and Pete Dye (18 holes) provide perhaps a wonderful golf experience. Both courses have their own clubhouse and pro shop, and both include excellent practice facilities, including driving ranges, sand bunkers, and chipping and putting venues. Of course, a professional staff is ready to help you hone your game. Each course has hosted championship events, with the Dye having hosted the NCAA Women’s collegiate championship, and the Nicklaus hosting each year the Landfall Tradition, featuring 24 of the nation’s top men’s and women’s teams.
TENNIS
The legendary Cliff Drysdale designed the exceptional tennis complex. It contains 14 multi-surface courts, with three grass courts for those wanting to emulate a round at Wimbldon. 9 self watering Har-Tru courts and 2 hard surface courts complete the playing surfaces. There is a fully stocked pro shop to provide supplies, and a professional staff to help teach the finer points of the game, or to restring a favorite racket.
FITNESS
The fitness complex includes an aerobics room, locker rooms, a massage therapy area, and saunas. The weight room has a full range of cardiovascular equipment including treadmills, recumbent and upright bikes, stair steppers, and elipticals. Cybex machines and free weights are also available.
SWIMMING
The 8 lane Olympic pool is surrounded by a toddler pool, snack bar, and areas for relaxation, lounging and socializing.
